REGIONAL SCIENCE CENTRE

The Science Centre is located at Vanganga Road, Shyamla Hills.The Centre gives knowledge about the basic laws of science and is very suitable place for those who is interested in science technologies. The Centre opens between 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. It has many exhibition gallery which are open for general public and for students . The galleries are described below ---
  • INVENTION GALLERY
This gallery gives information about various invention in the field of Science and Technology particularly about the mechanical system, travel and communication technology etc. These exhibits explain the fundamental scientific principles involved in inventing in a dramatic and easily understandable manner using interactive exhibits.
  • FUN SCIENCE

A total of 51 exhibits in this gallery gives enough information that are memorable for the visitors. The exhibits placed in this gallery gives hands on experience to the students and general visitors to study various laws and principle of science in an enjoyable way. How the joints of our body move to enable smooth movements? Why we see infinite images of an object? and many more interesting questions which are related to our daily life can be solved by visiting these halls.

  • THE ENERGY
Life on earth is driven by energy. Plants and animals harness energy from nature. Energy comes from different sources which are classified as renewable and non- renewable. Hall of energy is aim at educating the people about different forms of energy viz. mechanical, electrical, heat ,light, magnetic, sound and chemical. It also gives information about their production and practical applications.
  • SCIENCE PARK
Full of interactive exhibits on principles of energy , mechanics and perception.The park offers perfect non-coercive and free choice learning environment away from boundaries of class room.

The Centre is also famous for its science shows like science film show, 3-D science show and Taramandal show.
